Is there any disadvantage to use Quantizer-Values the upper mentioned way? For example I normally use Q=4.5. B-Frames are encoded
with Q=7, I-frames with Q=4. P-frames are encoded with Q=4 or Q=5. How does the encoder decide, which frame to encode with which value?
Or does the encoder do this randomly?
Maybe I'm wrong but it seems to me that when I use Q=4.5 the quality is much better than Q=5 without raising the size in the same way.
Thanks for your answers in advance
