I just copied Kill Bill Vol. 1 Region 1 using Big Three. VTS_O4_0.vob was just the FBI warning, so it was less than 200 mb and not re-encoded by the DIF4U process, but a dummy VTS_O4_0.vob was created. If I overwrite the original VTS_O4_0.vob with the dummy file will that remove the FBI warning or are there additional steps I need to take to ensure playability.

Thanks

as long as you run ifoupdate on this vts you shouldnt encounter any problems, although as habit, i usually recreate the exact number of chapters/cells as the original with dummy files.....but then i am superstitious when it comes to structure :D

You cannot just overwrite it with the new file and be sure of proper playback. I always leave the warnings alone. they don't take much space and are not worth the effort.

You could have used numenu to bring it down in size as well.

yeah, i think its safer just to remove the PUOPs and just fast forward thru the BS. its always better to have an exact a match as possible to the original dvd structure.

I just hate to wait 15 seconds for the warning to play out, everytime i start a dvd. I'll try to replace it with menuedit.

That's why shanez said to remove puops. You don't have to wait then. You can just skip the warning.

As an alternate solution, leave the vob's alone (as they are really small more then likely) and change the video manager precommand to jump directly the the menu... I usually do that
