Dolby has improved its already very efficient codec, allowing for higher quality sound, or if desired, lower bit-rate. It is compatible with all current Dolby Digital decoders (well, maybe not software hacks), as the decoders can be upgraded through the bit-stream. Hyped as being able to have more than 5 full range channels. Will this effect besweet and ac3filter, and other nonligit dolby decoders?
