Not too sure where this should go but,
I was having a problem with a dvd so i used dvd decrypter to rip all the files to the hard drive.I had to leave out two .vob's because of errors. After giving the disc a good clean i got one of these in full but i am 20,000kb short in the other.(i have 1,028,000 instead of 1,048,000).i am wondering if this will still work even without that little bit, obviously i will be missing 20,000kb of film but apart from that will it work. Thanks

From experience is won't work. I just was just short by 4MB. I tried Shrink, CloneDVD and DVD2One. They all failed.

Theres a quick fix around that. Try opening the VTS file in DVD Shrink (if that works). Then just copy the whole thing if it fits in 1 disk. Then you can burn with Nero or Decrypter.

You can also use Reauthor to make up for the lost video.

Try processing it with DvdReMake.

To be on a safe side (to ensure that DvdReMake will adjust all references in vob file) you may want to cut the very end of the damaged cell (or the very beginning if damage was at the start of it) before exporting disk.
