I have put together a basic tutorial on creating an Audio DVD with Sonic Audio DVD Creator.
It basicaly lets you make up a DVDA with 1 album(group) with multiple copies of the same song.
EG: Original stereo and Multi-channel wav from the Stereo to 5.1 thread. The specs for DVDA allow for upto 6.
You can have more than 1 group, but as I have not yet worked out the menus yet (almost) there is no easy way to navigate the different groups.
I cannot be bothered redoing the graphics for inclusion on this site, so I have put it on my own site:

Have fun.

BIG DEVELOPMENT!
If your DVDA player supports digital out -
DTS WAVE at 44.1 AND 48 is supported in Sonic!!
But you cannot play MultiChannel wav unless in analog mode.
But who cares when we have DTS and AC3 support.
(I assume ac3 wav will be the same).
The surprising thing is that in the Import process, the headers are not screwed up.
Just import as stereo wave.

Hi specise_8472
@ndy & me tried this out -> DVD-Audio
(but none of our standalone player managed to replay, incompatibile not supported format- thatīs life :D :D :D )
One technical question:
how do you import DTS/AC3? As DTS-/AC3-WAVs?
I always thought those tracks only would work in the VIDEO_TS folder?
Nice work!

Just import them as standard wave files.
They will import as stereo L,R.
If you have digital out on your player, the amp should pick up the DTS headers and work. Also if you make the waves 48khz in Surcode, they work on my setup.
Pioneer 733a DVDV,DVDA,SACD player
Marantz 7300ose amp.
EDIT: You make the files as DTSWAVE in Surcode and you can make AC3WAVE in Softencode.
Thanks, man!
Have you found anything other than Gear to burn the files with?

I haven't found anything yet to write a valid disk, other than Gear.
Nero does udf/iso, but the closest I got was by setting the 'Force x-box compatability' mode. Still didn't work properly. The player picked up that it was an Audio-DVD then refused to actually play it.
Hello Specise_8472

Patience young grasshopper.
I have worked out menus - but at the moment I am studying for two major International exams. I am sitting them on the same day late next week, and I have no time to do a guide.
All I can say is read up on the DOOM9 guides on DVD authoring. You will have to know how to use Photoshop layers. You can also use DVD MENU STUDIO program. But the guide will assume that you can use either of these programs. As I will only tell you how to use the results for our needs. I will not do a tutorial on using photoshop or menu studio.
