Disc freezes when Menu button is pressed

Hello all.

I'm trying to get rid of all the useless stuff (directors comments, previews, etc.) on my Family Guy Season 1 disc. I used MenuEdit to change what the buttons do and they all work fine. The only menu I still have is the episode menu. All the buttons in the episode menu point directly to the episodes, bypassing the menu for play episode, scene selection and commentary (incidentally, I totally removed those menus). The problem I'm having is when I push the menu button on my DVD player, the disc freezes and stops. Prior to deleting the menu for play episode, scene selection and commentary menu, the menu button would take me there and not to the episode selection menu.

How would I convert the episode menu to the menu that is opened when I press the menu on my DVD player?

When you push Menu button, player goes to the root menu, which you have deleted. I'd say first thing to try is putting Link PGC 9 as a first Pre command of PGC 1. As I can see from your attachments, PGC 1 is the root menu and PGC 9 is the episode menu.

Dimmer, that worked perfectly. However, now I have to manually select the english audio track when I play the DVD. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

Okay Dimmer, I think I got it... after I placed a link to PGC 9 in PGC 1, I went to PGC 9 and before the first command, I added a pre-command of "(SetSTN) Set Audio Stream: 0". So far it's worked in IFOEdit's player and in Roxio DVDMax. I'm burning it right now to see how it goes. Thanks again for the help!

Glad it worked out for you. Keep in mind though that now it will always switch to audio stream 0 when you press Menu button, even if you originally selected some other track.
