okay, so i have a dual boot with windows xp and mandrake linux 9.2. i also have an unallocated partition with 6Gigs that i want to add to the windows partition. how can i do this? thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer.

You can use any partitions utility,some are shareware but I prefer Partition Magic, it's the best for me!.Try PowerQuest web to see if there is a demo version and, if you like, buy it. Anyway I would do a backup from your most valuable data.

Partition Magic is absolutely worth it!!!
PQMagic 8 is around 35 EUR in Germany, maybe you can get the older Version 7 for less (it's not worse than 8, at least I haven't found any great differences).
by the way: it seems Symantec has bought PowerQuest and they call the program "Partition Magic Pro" now...
