Can't delete intro movies

Hi,

I've got a DVD5, which contains a intro movie, followed by a "this movies is allowed for people of 16 years and older" and a copyright message.

I want all of them out.

Normally I don't have any probs doing that, just checking which vobids to be deleted with vobrator, and then in IFOedit doing "delete playback" on those.

But with this one it won't work.

First of all all of this is included in VTS_04_1.VOB, there's no other things in that VTS so basicly it's just a VTS full of junk.

So I fired up IFOEdit and opened VTS_04_0.IFO and did "delete playback on all

Result: it doesn't do anything, it still plays all of the intro's...

Anyone sees what I'm doing wrong here?

IMHO the simplest way to solve your problem is to open your DVD in DVDShrink and in reauthor mode just keep the title corresponding to the main movie. Since it's a DVD5 there shouldn't be any compression :)

If after delete playback it still plays intros then they are probably in some menu pgc.

BUT, you can't simply "delete playback" with titles. If such titles are accessed they will probably confuse the player. Better ways are:
1. changing pre/post commands so that they skip playback of a pgc
2. blanking pgc(s) - replacing with blank vobs of same vob/cell id(s)

Ok, I tried TitleSetBlanker, and now it's doing what it should do.

Yes TitleSetBlanker goes a long way.. I use it on almost any disc. Sometimes the annoying studio logos and copyright warnings are inside a large VTS so then you need DVDReMake (best) or DVD Stripper (needs to rerip in different mode) which can remove anything you wish.
