Proggies that input DVD VOB's?

I have TMPGEnc DVD Author and it allows me import whole DVD Video/audio with chapters intact. I like that very much. I can then redo the menu as I see fit.

The problem is the templates are too few and you can't change them. Most other authoring programs require me to create elementary streams first and I lose the chapters, so that has to be done separately.

Are there any other authoring programs that will import whole DVD's, but with a little more control than DVD Author?

You can try DVDLab. It can import VOB files, but I didn't try myself to preseve the chapters.

As for TMPGEnc DVD Author, the latest versions allow you to create custom menu templates and replace any built-in element like buttons with your own images. It won't allow to add extra buttons though.
