Multiple Channel Capture, is it possible?

Search through the site and couldn't find anything really relating to this. So does anyone know if it possible to capture multiple channels at the same time using the same card? If so what kind of card do you recommend?
Basically i'm trying to find a capture card to buy that does multiple channels is PCI has analogue and s-video in so it can cope with digitial to.

A tv card with both a tuner and separate video/audio inputs, such as any of the ATI All-In Wonder series, would be needed. Open two capture windows and set one to the tuner input and the other to the video/audio. The problem is that capturing is one of the most intensive operations around on both the processor and hard drive. The only way I'd even attempt it is to capture uncompressed, which puts the least amount of load on the cpu. Each capture window I'd record to a separate physical hard drive. If the capture program could be written to take advantage of multiple processors, then your idea is more feasible. So, technically it is possible, but the end result wouldn't be worth it.

There are many capture cards that can capture multiple "channels", but not in the traditional sense of channels being TV channels. The only application I've seen for them is for security cameras to capture many video sources at once. Something like this:

It can capture 4 channels of RCA inputs. You could capture 4 channels with this using 4 VCR's each one with an output going to the card.

To capture 4 channels at once you would need to have 4 seperate tuners, which is doesn't exist.

So.. at least it is possible.

EDIT:
Oh yeah, and I'm betting that capture card can't capture at full resolution and full frame rates. There are better ones that can, but cost considerably more.
