trying to play this file encoded with XviD 1.0rc3 with MPlayer 1.0pre3try2 and the video stutters a lot
cpu usage is about 20% on a AMD XP3000
what can i do to fix it ?

Sorry, TESTEPT, but Rule 6 precludes anyone from helping you with this. Repeating the same question without mentioning the source is not an appropriate solution.
