Codec quality comparion

Hi,

I read few articles about quality of different codecs. Now I have to compare a few codecs for a study in my university. I looking for the JNDmetrix tool.
Does anyone know were I can buy/find it?
Is not available anymore at www.sarnoff.com.

Does anyone have it and mail me some details about this programm?

this is a quite expensive professional package and I'm not sure how much money you have available (note being listed on the official website anymore doesn't mean that it has suddenly become free). Your best shot is to contact sarnoff and ask them directly.

I know about the cost of that tool. But there was a free trial version available.

I send them an email. But they cannot help me. So I try this way!

hmm. I didn't even know there was a demo (you'd think I'd download it after c't started using it).

Sorry maybe I am wrong with the trial Version. I thought a read this somewere in google-search. But I cannot find it again in the web (I searched for the last 60 min.)

But what I need is help. I have to compare different videocapture-cards on quality and performance and its influence in streaming media (Real,Windowsmedia, Quicktime). So I need a tool to compare raw-videofiles (with different codes) and finally compare the encoded video.

Maybe here is someone who can help.
