Hi all.

Sorry if this specific problem has been discussed, but I really cant find an answer to my problem so here goes:

I have a Star Trek: The Next Generation DVD Box set. Now it is my intention with this box set to back up the episodes of the box set to 2 episodes per DVD+R. I dont want any of the animated menus or nonsense that comes with the DVD Set, just the episodes, so I've decided to use DVD Shrink to create a DVD with just the two episodes on (uncompressed).

Say the hyptotheical structure of this DVD is as follows:

VIDEO_TS (dir)

VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO

VTS_01_0.BUP < -- Epsiode 1 on the disk.
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB

VTS_02_0.BUP < -- Episode 2 on the disk.
VTS_02_0.IFO
VTS_02_1.VOB
VTS_02_2.VOB

Now as it stands I can play this DVD Structure and the VTS_01 title set will play through (with chapters, which is what I want) and then the VTS_02 will play immediatley after (also with chapters).

Now if the DVD has already been pre authored in this way (but is still contained on the hard disk of my PC) is it possible to add a static menu to this without re-authoring so that without having to skip through all the chapters of VTS_01 I can go straight to VTS_02 (the second title set).

Note: I have a pre made (in Photoshop) menu image and want to use this (not some pre made ugly looking one) and this is the main requirement.

You can use the new numenu scenarist version (see dif4u and associated tools forum) to create a scenarist script for you of the current menu. Fit your own menu in somewhere and compile.

Or as an other option: use menuedit and change one of the existing button commands to jump to the title you want (might require some ifoediting as well)
