It is possible to obtain any speed improvement using TMPGEnc with win2k Pro and a P4 Processor with HT? and with WinXP Pro?

You can use in the Envirolment Settings of TMPGEnc the Multithread function and TMPGEnc works faster till one Hour( Own experience and friends);)

I've even read about TMPGEnc being faster on Pentiums which don't support HT somewhere if you enable Multiprocessor use, but as I've got an AMD...

I don't have another PC to compare the performance, but I can say that with a P4 2.6GHz with HT and XP Pro, both CPUs are running at 100% all the time through the compression, something I never saw with other programs...

At least TMPGEnc uses all resources ;)
