I use the ffdshow for playback of xvid and divx. I use a 800x600 DLp projector as monitor. I have always used the default settings for ffdshow. But i was thinking maybe some of the filters would improve the picture? What filtersettings should i use?

Yea, but i was thinking some oen could give me some guidelines. For instance, i want to get rid of the blur when the camera is moving. This is really annoying.

But some stuff I like to use:
- denoise3D @ low values (high CPU usage)
- unsharp mask @ value 25 (for TV output)
- Insane high resize with luma sharpening
- AviSynth / Mipsmooth (for blocky stuff)
- AviSynth / AddGrain (for clean sources)

why do you want to add graind to clean stuff? :)
I tried the resize but i havent found a way to keep the aspect ratio. I want the width to be 800 and the height to change with the aspect ratio.

Coz @ low values, it looks "virtually" more detailed then... ;)
Its also looks very nice when you output to TV !!!

You have to adjust the proper AR manually !!!
