how do i unauthor a dvd?

ok I authored a dvd yesterday with tmpenc dvd author and burned it to a dvd.. well my hd just crashed and i lost the original .mpeg. How do I convert my authored dvd back into the .mpeg?

Demux your vob and then multiplex it back to an mpeg.

Or just open the DVD with TDA, and check the option to copy it to the hard drive. It will then convert the title to an mpeg.

@1st replay: what program do I use to demux vobs? BTW the dvd was 1.7GB so it was split into 2 vobs.

@2nd replay: How do you open DVDs in TDA? I dont see any options for that. Also were is a box to save it to your Hard drive?

DVD Decrypter will demux but won't multiplex. Tmpgenc/Plus and Mpeg-vcr will demux and mux.

With TDA click->add dvd video, select your dvd. (new window) title1 click->next, (new window) check "copy the clip video data to the hdd" click->ok.
