MPC and 5.1 WAVE to SPDIF

Hey,

how is it possible to configure mpc to send WAVE files
(5.1) to SPDIF output? I tried all the filter settings,
it just keeps playing them with the default directshow stuff.

I aint that familiar with the filter stuff, so please help me.
I have some very nice 5.1 tracks and i am tired of burning
each of them on a cd before i can listen to them.

System:
Windows2000 SP4
DirectX 9.0b
MPC 6.4.8.2
Soundblaster Live! Platinum (latest drivers)

Your reciever wouldnt recognize 5.1 wave, and its to much bandwidth for the cable anyways. You can only send PCM stereo, AC3, DTS and AAC (one reviver can do this) over SPDIF I believe.
