It would be great if the next release of xvid codec allowed us to see a xvid file while encoding another file.
Don't you think?

I can watch XviD files while encoding in VDub...

Could be a GC related thing !!!

Maybe its thus "multiple overlay" problem ???

Try to change VDub's display settings... ;)

Someone else a clue maybe ???

Bye

What exactly do you mean? I've watched other encodes while encoding all the time. What problem are you having exactly? Need to give more details before someone can help you. Are you saying that the other file plays jumpy or what?

it doesn't work. i mean the screen is dark (zoom player or media player). i've the sound but not the video.

Have you tried using another renderer?
Some of my movies don't give a screen with VMR9 renderless and rendering in 2D, whereas using regular offscreen surfaces or overlay mixer works in that case.
I don't know why that happens, though. There is only one player running and it happenes one some movies, others just play back fine.

So just my thought...
bye, nanga.

P.S. I wasn't encoding, too.

Are you using the xvid decoder or ffdshow or what?
