Hi,
I'm trying to make a dvd-rip movie, and i can't really get to synchronize the sound and the movie.
It's alway's the sound that comes before the action in the movie.
Meaby i've did something wrong in the process ?
I tryed several times playing with the configs ...
Someone has a clue ?
Thanx.

Hi-

Maybe. Did you decrypt the vob files using DVDDecrypter in IFO Mode, as you should?
As for fixing it, try and read through this thread:

Do you mean AC3 Encoder? Anyway, here's how most of us would go through this process:
1. Decrypt DVD using DVD Decrypter
2. Load the resulting .vob file into DVD2AVI,save project as .d2v, here I believe you know that your audio will be demultiplexed either in AC3 or DTS format, depends how you set the audio output in DVD2AVI. This audio file will then show in the resulting filename the audio delay, that should give you the clue.
3. Using Gordian Knot, prepare your settings like cropping, resizing, and/or subtitles then once you save that Gknot will automatically generate a .avs file for you.
4. That .avs file from Gknot is what gets fed into Virtualdub or VirtualdubMod. Then you can just fire away with your encoding after choosing your preferred codec settings.
5. For multiplexing (joining) the encoded video and the audio, Virtualdub or VirtualdubMod is used again whether one chooses the demuxed AC3 file from Step 2, or a transcoded .mp3 of that.
I'm not entirely sure if you've gone through this process, but its just to show you how its done by the great majority of users here. Maybe you can be more specific with your queries next time? That way we can easily help you with any of your problems.:)

Hi there nFury8,
I use smart ripper, flask mpeg, ac3dec (dolby digital converter) wav normilazer and virtual dub ....
It's a tutorial i use to do ripping before 1 years ago ...
I think it's about time to upgrade my doing methods :S ...
Btw if i did the ripping with smart ripper in File mode and i choosed all the files to copy to my harddrive is ok ?
I mean i won't need to redo that step ?
Thanx

No, it's not OK, and is almost certainly the cause of your audio being out of synch. Movie Mode is what you want.
