Yes a nice tool i have tested it making svcd but the sound is very bad, picture is very good...
By the way i cannot register on the forum the link i recieved in my email is dead...

It doesn't seem to accept .AVS or frameserved AVIs either.

No need to frameserve you can encode direct from ripped dvd to avi (xvid,divx)including subs same with mpeg vcd svcd dvd

Yep, you're right, but what happens if you have an AVI file which has the resolution of: 640x352 ? :) In order to get the correct aspect ratio, you'd need to resize it with AVISynth/VirtualDUB and then frameserve it into Sceneo.

I've tried just opening the AVI (640x352 resolution) into Sceneo, and instead of adding black borders (like it is supposed to), it just stretches the image so it becomes 'full screen' when it finishes encoding.
