I used 321 X Copy Platinum to back up one of my dvds. So far it has not failed me. Love it.

But now, just for fun, I would like to remove the 321 disclaimer, and maybe even the FBI one, and start the video with my own custom intro. I made one up in Womble mpeg video wizard, which saved it out as mpeg2 file.

I tried to reassemble a new vid in Ulead, but it won't intake .vob files without splitting out the audio. So I can't just drag in the new mpeg and then add the other vob files.

At this point, is it a big hassle to create a new dvd?

Doom9 has som guides on how to author your own dvds. See guides/dvd/dvd authoring.

:) Use 312gone. Run XCopy Express but do not put the blank disk in.
The program will ask for the blank disk. Then Run 312Gone.exe and it will remove all the leaders you want deleted. Insert the blank disk and when you see the green light click. You can find this free program on http://psidoc0.tripod.com/ Good luck, it works great. Robert :p

I think there are a number of products, many of them free, that will remove a cell from a DVD - usually replacing it with a small blank cell.

I don't know of many products, free or not, that will let you replace a cell though. You could probably do it with IfoEdit if you worked hard enough at it (maybe), and I think (but I'm not sure) you can do it with DVDStripper. I know you can replace a cell quite easily with DVDReMake.
