I'm thinking about upgrading my Pioneer DVR-103 to a 107. The burning software I use is Recordnowmax 4.

I'm extremely happy with this drive/software combo, but these days it's a bit slow, Recordnowmax won't support this drive, it comes with Ulead burn.now. I can't find a demo of this (I think it's OEM only or something)or even a picture of the GUI.

I'd appreciate it if anyone can tell me about their experiences with this prog, or where I can download a legal demo.

Thanks, but Stomp inc.'s site pushes ver. 4.5, and lists the compatible drives only up to 105.

Something is wrong with their site because it says if you own 4.0, you can download 4.5 free, but then it's not even listed on the support or download page. Seems like I hit an old page, which has links to newer pages??

Sonic solutions bought this software (I think) and they claim support up to 106. However, their screen shots make me cringle. I like regular classic Windows style software. I hate this cheesy mass market fancy skin crap that oversimplifies use (actually, it usually makes it harder to use).

Case in point, ever try using DVDit? Compare that crapola to DVDmaestro!

Having said that, if all I'm going to be doing is burning AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders, I may have to bite the bullit.

I was just hoping to at least see some screen shots of Burn.now

BTW, have you tried burning with Roxio? I have it, but don't use it.
Have had BAD experiences with Nero, I won't go near it.
