well few months ago a friend of mine just captured a 5 minute video (25 Mb) from a analog camera. he captured it to XviD with virtualdub (probably 14328). :D (not the actual version of the xvid codec, probably 6-2003 or older). the annoyance is that he could play the file perfectly by that moment. but today i canīt play or even convert it to another fileformat. :devil:
TmpgEnc just converts the first 5 sec the rest you see it completely dark. VDMod latest version says:
reconstructing missing index block (agressive mode)
index not found or damaged. reconstructing via file scan. keyframe flag reconstruction was not specified in open options and the video stream is not a known keyframe-only type. seeking in the video stream may be xtremely slow
and iīve tried too DivFix 1.10 but happens the same. if i check cut out bad parts just creates a 120 Kb file. when i select check errors says List index out of bounds (1) and some other times crashes
Errors like this are continuous as you can read in the log file:
frame= 8861 [B] estimated compressed size= 4560 compressed size= 31 overflow= -10531
i wonder how could i see that video (it is a personal memory) and now i canīt. :confused:
some GSpot information:
-Type: OpenDML AVI
-I/L: 1 aud frame (24ms) Split:yes
-IMRR: 1.01
-0.220 bits/pixel
-00:05:54 (8,840 fr)
-Rendering failed
