GK Couldn't Find Stats Files (XViD RC4)

Hello,

I never had problems with GK(using Dvix or Xvid RC3) since I've installed the new XviD RC4 codec. Now he just can't found Stats Files and don't load the Compressibility Test. I'don't know What to do.
Need Help.

GordianKnot isn't compatible with new release of XviD (rc1--rc4). Get koepi 24/06/2003 or use AutoGK. Or, better, built your avisynth with GK, get audio/video size and then encode with VirtualDub.

i encountered this same issue ;)

For me, that came from my directory location
With WinXP system, if you use a restricted directory like C:\Documents and Settings\your_name\
GK couldn't find your stat file :confused:

Solution: create a new directory like C:\DVD Zone or C:\Temp... (viewable by all users)
and use it to encode your movie with GK + Xvid 1.0RC4
since i did that, no error and result is perfect (i like GK :o )

Yeah Thx a lot for your answers.

I've Read the Guide for VirtualDub(It's a better methode than the only GK one,you can set and control more things;)) and I'm now trying to make my own .avs
