Best authoring program for......

I have used many different authoring programs. I am however helping a friend edit a short wedding photographer promo video. She wants to have a short video clip of her speaking in the very middle of the screen with contact info shown around the small video as it plays. What is my best bet for a authoring programs to set this up? Thanks for any help.

So you need a static picture overlaying the video? Go with a program that supports subtitles or animated menus. My favorite is Scenarist, but you can also use Maestro and some others. Just create the contact info in a form of full-size subpicture, and mark is as having forced start. Alternatively, you can create the clip in the form of animated menu with video in the background and the contact info as a one huge customized button.
