Vhs To Dvd - Is There Any Filter 2 Inprove Qaulity ??

Just wondering if there were any filter tricks i could use to inprove the qaulity of converting VHS to DVD (MPEG2) Is possible att all ??.

I find VirtualDub's temporal smoother filter is quite effective, although I expect there are better options.

Set strength to "2" for VHS tapes that are OK quality, up to "4" for really old/poor quality tapes.
