I have about 1000 music video's that Ihave authored over the years in VCD format.
Previously I have burnt them to VCD (18 at a time), however I have made a couple of DVD using TMPGENnc DVD Authoring - very simple as it re-encodes the audio to a DVD compliant 48KHz. (The 352x288 VCD MPEG1 rip is of course already DVD compliant).

I have also used DVDWise quite a lot but it doesnt have the ease of TMPGEnc.

Unfortunately I have yet to find a solution that allows me to select random play so that it will randomise my 120 clip playlist in the Title or across titles. Anyone had any success/ideas?

With a more professional dvd authoring package this should be possible. Something like maestro or scenarist. take a look at this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=73904) thread as well.

should have searched more before asking - search="shuffle" had more pertinance than "random".
I have a copy Scenarist 2.5 - is it an XP required Package - or can I run it on 98SE?

Dont laugh - I still run 98SE 'caue of my Matrox G200 MJPEG hardware video coder.....better the devil you know....

Fortunately I have a dual boot 98SE/XP System for XP related software - but dont use XP all that often.
I do have DVDMaestro somewhere though - cant recall which version (cant find it at the moment).
