When I view my DVD's on the PC there is no problem whatsoever but after I use DVD Decrypter I have random green speckles on the preview before encoding. After it has been encoded with AutoGK the speckels are more pronounced similar to the matrix code LOL (see image)

I would imagine the problem is nothing to do with my vidcard seeing as i can view the original perfectly. I have tried using different codecs but the problem still remains. It is getting annoying as I have looked allover the place for an answer. Has anyone come across this problem before and if so could you help

If you want the full video file of 10 Mb here it is (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/deephouse333/Stargate/Video/Stargate%20Fan%20Club.avi)

Welcome to the forum:

Take a peek at this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43133&highlight=green), it might be what you're looking for. A simple search on "green", or "dots" in the GKnot forum might do you some good if this doesn't work. That's how I found this thread I've linked you to. :) Good luck!

Thanks for the help ammck55, the problem i found when searching for any posts relating to my query is using the right terminology or language, I ended up going deeper into things I had no clue about and loosing myself. I've had a peek at the threads and seen some possible solutions but its late now so I will continue tomorrow.

Thanks again :D
