I went over guides, but I don't see much covering this. I need to take small scenes from various DVDs.... and combine the scenes into one DVD... any info is appreciated. I've only really done straight DVD backups before. I also need to be sure to keep the full 5.1 audio, or I would done it with a standalone DVD recorder.

Welcome to the forums.
TMPGEnc DVD Author (http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/tda.html) allows you to do this easily. However, it lets you keep only one audio stream, no DTS or subtitles.
hi Dulanic,
another simple approach to this would be to use DVD Shrink in Re-author mode.
you can use the start/end feature to 'cut' any section from a dvd and add it to a 'collection' disk.
guides for using shrink can be found at ddloopings excellent site:

hope that helps

Thanks the DVDShrink thing seems to be what Im looking for, it just seems I need to extract the DVDs in File mode when I already did ISO mode for like 20 of them LOL. I've used DVD Shrink a ton, but never knew it could do the whole start end thing... I think that will work PERFECTLY for what I need.
