View Full Version : Xvid decoding - Change brightness?

(I use XviD-1.0-RC3-29022004.exe with Media Player Classic).

Is there any way to change the brightness? I went into
Xvid's Configure Decoder, but it doesn't let me move the
brightness bar. Is there any other way to change the
brightness?

Get first 1.1 builds from GaM3R - they have brightness control already.

Shouldn't at least this feature be backported to the 1.0 tree? Having a brightness control that doesn't do anything in the final 1.0 version is probably odd... (or at least remove the slider so people won't keep asking about it... :))

We can't change that anymore.

Anyway, you shouldn't worry too much - are you going to use 1.0.0 if 1.1alpha is already available? :D

That's too bad; how about removing the always-disabled slider from the dialog, then? (Don't tell me the slider is a vital part of the API... :D)

Ummm... ummm... ummm... because 1.0.0 is stable? *g,d&r* ;)
