mp2 -> wav with madplay & prevent cliping?

i decoded mp2 -> wav with madplay... there were some cliping acording to madplay...

what option should i use in madplay to avoid this?

ok, solved the problem...

1)madplay -> null output
2)take peak value from null output window
3)set attentuate to peak value in madplay ...

-a, --attenuate=DECIBELS attenuate signal by DECIBELS (-)
