Robshot method using CCE Basic - possible?

Is it possible to use CCE Basic with Robshot method (AKA "Getting the best out of CCE")?

I don't know, but I wouldn't have though CCE Basic has the advanced settings required.

Anyway, unless CCE's bitrate allocation is systemically flawed, when your average bitrate is fixed, manual tweaking as per the robshot guide is pointless. CCE has made allocation decisions based on the average bitrate you have input, if you tweak without changing that average bitrate, you are just shifting the problems to other parts of the video stream.

But is it possible to view the Q.factor in the same way after encoding?

I have now read the manual, which I didn't know could be downloaded before buying the app.
As I understand it it's not possible to use the Robshot method so nevermind my original question.
I probably will buy it though considering I can use it with DVDrebuilder.
