Iv tried to backup several of my dvd films using this software with mixed results. Sometimes it works but most of the time the backup copy plays until the last few chapters then the film appears to get stuck and keeps starting and stopping until it eventually freezes completely. I write the files using Prassi and have had similar probs with DVD Decrypter and DVDXcopy Xpress. This is driving me insane and I would appreciate any help you lot can give me - Cheers

P.S. A few of my titles Ive tried it with that havent worked are:

A Man Apart - Vin Diesel
Analyize That - De Neiro
Meet The Parents - De Neiro
Gangs of New York - De Caprio

and plenty of others

Sounds like problem is not with the software/process ure doing but with the media you are working with. Freezing/jumping/sticking after 20mins or so is down to the discs/burner compatability.
You can double check if the discs are ok with ure burner by going to dvdrhelp.com.........suggest u by some ritek discs and that should solve ure problems

Hi, thanks for your reply. I am using a pioneer DVR 105 with the recommended 4x speed red Datawrite DVD-R's, do you really think that this could be the source of all my problems? If so how come it only happens some of the tim and not all the time? Thanks, I appreciate your help!

well, as red-adair suggested it may be media problems, and as it is occuring near the end of the disc/movie it may prove to be a result of poor media or an inconsitency with your player/media choice.
one way to prove this is to find a dvd-5 (ie single layer disc) in your collection and copy this disc with DVD Decrypter in iso mode (read then write) and see if your standalone player accepts the burnt disc.
once you have ruled out compatability issues we can move onto other variables
good luck

A couple of other suggestions on top of jel's advice is to drop the burning speed down to 1x or 2x (not all drives can handle the full speed of writer). Other option is to copy a disc with software like 'dvd2one' and compress the file to 4/4.2gb, if the disc works ok it is pretty much a media problem as ure not burnin to the outer edge of ure disc ie the full 4.7gb..Let us know how u get on.
