has anyone noticed cce's mpeg-1 doing wierd things at what appears to be an I frame. It looks a bit like a macroblock spasm with a duration of one frame.

My source is pretty clean...

Betacam SP -> Uncompressed 4:2:2 -> MPEG-2 @ 9 mbps -> avisynth -> cce basic.

A huffyuv avi from the avs shows nothing on the frames in question which would cause it to freak out.

I don't know about the error but you shouldn't use CCE for MPEG-1, it sucks.. TMPEG is way better.

Unfortunatly I HAVE to have command line control... until TMPEnc get's that sorted, or a workaround comes to light, I'm kinda stuck with cce (or mencoder if i can get that to work properly).

... I think I found the answer to my question anyway. Using fixed_gop=1 seemed to fix it.
