Jear man! I can sell You my last version of this machine. My girlfriend bougth me once this machine. It is to slow for my encodings. The last movie I edited on this machine was Star Wars 3. But in some cases I must use 4 peaces of this machine.

Well, it depends... There are very different opinions on this topic. Some encoders deliver better quality than others depending on many parameters, e.g. interlaced or progressive, bitrate chosen, etc. Some people are more interested in high speed, others in high quality, again others in user-friendliness or configurability.

To sum it up: there is no such thing as "the best encoder" - and therefore we have rule #12 (which I tell for the second time now, although I don't like to repeat myself).
