i've been really succesful with dvd shrink on one of my home pc's but the second of the two doesn't seem to want to recognize nero when it finishes copying the dvd. i've looked through about a hundred diffrent post and have tried anything i have found to fix it and it still doesnt allow me to chosse to "burn with nero" when the time comes but it does seem to know when it is and isnt installed cause i have tried it both ways. Any help would be awesome.
thanks

hi chaponga and welcome to the forums,
i am sorry to say that i have no idea why you are receiving errors with nero, as i uninstalled that program within a week of finding doom9 :D.
apart from suggesting checking with the technical support at aheads website, you can try using ImgTools Classic to create an iso image of your 'shrunk' files, which you can then burn with DVD Decrypter.
this method has worked flawlessly for me to date.
here is a link to download the latest ImgTools Classic, which has the added features of automating the burning process for you - essentially becoming a 'one-click' burning tool.

hope that helps

thanks... i was hesitant to use that program because it looked like it might be complicated and some of my roomates aren't very good on pcs but i'll give it a try.

Added function to read and write ISO files, also backup option
to burn an ISO file with DVD Decrypter.
hmmmm...i should have read the latest help file with DVD shrink. it seems that with the latest buid (3.1.7.6) 'shrink can create an .iso image for you and automate DVD Decrypter to burn that image.
wow!
dvd shrink, the gift that keeps on giving :D
