Hi
A while ago I had a problem when playing divx/xvid videos in WMP 9, the problme was that the video kept jerking or sticking at intervals for a brief second. I managed to fix the problem by not using WMP 9 and starting to use BSPlayer.
Until now, everything has been fine, but now the problem is starting with BSPlayer as well. Im guessing its something wrong with my codecs, though I have all the latest versions of codecs, but I have that many installed it maybe conflicting or something. At present, im just watching a video in BSPlayer what is using MPEG Layer-3 Audio Decoder v1.5 (Build 50) and XviD Decoder, and the problem is occuring. Though this has only recently happened and the codecs did work fine.
I have run a defrag, virusscan, scandisk etc.. to make sure it wasnt a problem with my hard-disk.
If anyone else has had this problem and been able to overcome it, please help me.
Also, is it possible to remove codecs/filters which cannot be uninstalled via the Add/Remove Programs, because when i use GSpot it is saying there are 4 codecs for video and 3 codecs for audio, just on this one file.
Oh, and another thing, is it possible to specify which codec you want to use for playback, either specifying it in GSpot or BSPlayer.
Thanks
Mark
