Hello all

OK so this is the set up: In PS8 export movies as MPEG2. Convertion of MPEG2 in TEMPenc to Mv's or something silimar (dvd format), and import files into DVDlab and burn onto a DVD -R with nero.

Some clips are REALLY jerky on the DVD! specially on moving parts! MPEG2's looked fine.

What to do? I've tried to create AVI files with PS8 but TEMPenc wont recognise them? neither will DVDlab?

Isnt it weird that TEMPemc wont open the avi's?

Thanks

Jerky video on your tv (while the mpeg files looked fine on your pc) is 95% of the time a field-order issue. The pc deinterlaces before displaying, while a tv display in a interlaced fashion 'by nature'. Solution: Tell your mpeg encoder to interpret the footage with the filed order setting the other way around (upper field first/lower field first). Try it with a short clip first and see if this solves your problem.

Can't say why TMPEGEnc doesn't recognise your avi's, though...
