looking for someone with ati card

Since a while we are working on a new version of the analog capture guide. We are looking for someone who uses an ATI card for capturing, and is able to make some screenshots for us?

I have the following ATI cards:

AIW Radeon 32MB
AIW Rage 128 32MB
TV Wonder PCI

I also have a Leadtek Winfast 2000 Deluxe in a different computer and could do simultaneous captures from same source.

This one is ok. I would like to have a screenshot from the same frame, captured at different resolutions. What is important, is that the frame (jpg) contains a lot of detail.

I don't know whether you have pal or ntsc. Can you capture at arbitrary sizes? If so, can you cap at the following sizes:

for pal: 480,400,384,240,160 (vertical 576)

for ntsc: 400,368,356,320,160 (vertical 480)

If you can't cap at arbitrary sizes, what sizes can you capture?

I live in the USA so it will be NTSC. I took one set on the AIW 128 as you requested and included another from the AIW Radeon. The AIW 128 is in my old Win98 system and the source seemed noisier than my Win2K system with the AIW Radeon, so I included another set from it. The frames are from CNN. If something else would be more suitable, let me know. I will email you a zip file as it seems I can not include attachments here. Let me know what you think.

EDIT: I guess I can not attach files to the email selection here either. Let me know how you would like me to send you the file.

I have an ATI Radeon AIW 8500DV w/ 64 Megs. Currently I don't have a website that I can post to, but my email does allow attachments. Just give me an address and how you want the screenshots sent to you. (i.e. format, colorspace, codec).

Hey Wilbert, I've been at this board for a while now and I respect/like what you guys are doing...

PM me, and I will give you anything you want in the way of screenshots or whatever...whatever I can do to help, you all have helped me, now it's my turn.

Oh sorry I forgot to say I hae a 9000 AIW 64 megs DDR, with all the addons hooked up to my TV, video camera, tape player, hehe

Hi Wilbert,
I have an ATI AIW Radeon, and I live in PAL land.
I could try to make some capture in the weekend.
Is it fine if I use a DVD Source ?
(be careful I have only a cheap AMSTRAD 2320).
I have to apologise but I can only capture through the composite video out (the DVD has not S-Video output).
I could send the screeshots on the first days of next week.
