Im gonna backup Ned Kelly, im gonna lose the DTS track to save space. Now backing the extras up aint a problem as thers only one extra which is 13 mins, plus theres photo gallerys. Now the thing that has me baft is the video_ts.vob. Its 971mb, but the video footage thats in the video_ts.vob is'nt any where on the dvd as in the extras, and from what i can tell the footage has nothing to do with ned kelly, in the footage the was a clip where the was a paper, but it had hitchcocks name on it.This footage is 31mins long and has a DD2.0 track that has a bitrate of 0Kbps.
So what do i do with this, all i can tell is that is just there to take up space using useless footage that has nothing to do with the dvd.

Ive also opened the video_ts.ifo in ifoedit. If i go down to language menu unit 1 and double click on the menu entrys that have vob ids the first shows a warning and a deluxe digital studios logo, the second shows a deluxe digital studios logo and the last shows a short blank screen.

But when playing the video_ts.vob in dvd2avi and power dvd i get that footage i said about.

run it through numenu4u. if it is indeed a dummy waste of space and does not appear in any PGC then it will be stripped.

Nice one zeul, hust run your program.File was 971mb, now its 466kb and all thats in it are the warning message and the logo.
So after that if i have it set to intergrate with dif4u, when dif4u caculates the bitrate it will calculate it with the small video_ts.vob right ?

yep, doifast4u calculates bitrates based upon the video_ts folder content. now that this folder is almost 1gig smaller the bitrate calcs should be considerably better

Be sure to set the correct settings in dif4u (not copy menufiles, when numenu has already been run). Otherwise you'll get the original menu back ;)

I usually run numenu from dif4u for total integration

Well i didnt set it, but after numenu dif4u auto changed the setting to not copy the menu files when numenu has been fun.
