Greetings all,

I'm testing out some avisynth IVTC and deinterlacing techniques and I thought it might be nice to throw some NTSC to PAL converted footage into the mix.... but I don't have any - can anyone send me a sample?

I don't need a very large clip, just a second or so from a vob file, but I'd ideally like a clip from a converted anime source with field-blended decimation. The perfect source would be a clip for a show I have in NTSC. Neon Genesis Evangelion won't be any use as it has blended fields in the original NTSC (non-revival) but something like boogiepop phantom, excel saga or cowboy bebp (not movie) would be great.

That's the ideal situation but I'm open for any PAL anime conversion footage and not that many frames. A vob section is ideal but a VBLE export is ok too.

I can accept things via email (if less than 6 meg) or an instant messenger program.

Thanks very much in advance.

As you're using a web browser to access this forum, I presume you also accept files via HTTP ;). In order to catch the jerks and blends best the segment became a little bigger than 6MB, but as it's not mail, I hope that's not a problem.

File is currently uploading, so please wait until the filesize has stopped changing (there's a file listing in the parent dir).

BLAHAHAAAA!

that's pretty cool. i'd like to see spirited away with dutch soundtrack and english subs... i'd need a 6-pack first though.

i must admit that i tend to watch the english dubs quite often. it's hard to read subs when you're lying on the couch - i'm not accustomed to reading vertically.

Awesome Spirited Away clip - thanks mf!

It looks like it's been converted from the Japanese R2 release - which is great because I have that and can make a direct comparison. Excellent :D

Mug Funky: you have PM :)
