Hi

Too low volume is one of the problems of DivX/XviD encoding with automatic audio processing in BeSweet (e.g., in the excellent AutoGK).

Can you just tell me the steps of increasing the volume of the mp3 (with BeSweet GUI) that AGK has saved in the gk_tmp folder, for muxing with the video it has generated ? I know, increasing volume more than what BeSweet has done automatically and judiciously may lead to problems like clipping ect, but sometimes the volume increase is just necessary.

I am sorry, I get confused with the various interfaces that the BeSweet GUI offers. Maybe some of you PROs may write a guide more detailed than the one at Doom9 guides page, explaining all the windows in BeSweet GUI.

Thanks and Regards.

Check out the MP3 FAQ #3 (link in sig). Also, check out BeSweet's hybridgain option, it works great for MP3.

Yep. Use hydridgain with Besweet while encoding your VBR MP3 (or another format). If you already have the file encoded you can use mp3gain (a freeware) to increase the gain of your file without encoding (and loosing quality).

Google for this tool :)
