Playback Avi(VP3): large pixels

I have a VP3-clip which I can't get to work well.
I installed a vp3-installer (on2-Technologies), but the video is full of large pixels/blocks.

I tested it on 3 PCs with the same result (Windows XP SP1, ATI 9700Pro and 2 onboard-chipsets with the newest drivers)

Does anybody knows help?
