Hi

First problem: I've created a project with menus and buttons and all. However, when when I hit the "simulate dvd" option I can't select 1 of the buttons (it skips that track all together). All other buttons work fine (ie they are highlighted and can be selected).

There's a similar problem in the second menu; I can't select a certain button if I scroll down, but *can* select it if I scroll back up!!!

Second problem:: When I try to compile a dvd I get "compiler error- if source files are non-elementary files, dexux first or try re-enconde files" error message. I overide this error by selecting the 2nd (alternative)compiler engine. It's strange that I should get this error message seeing that I've demuxed the files in DVDlabs (they were previously MPG2). I have burned a DVD using the second/alternative engine and it came out well. Why am I getting this error message then?

Thanks for the reply

I sort of figured out the first bit...all I had to do was to "centre align" all the buttons and they all worked! weird hey?

Still dont understand why DVDlab cant properly demux files it imports into its assets bin. Could the MEPG2 files created by Studio be the problem?

It's annoying having to use one program to edit another to transcode, another to author....are there any good all-in-one programs out there? Will Premiere do all this?

You can spend a lot of money on authoring programs that don't do half what DVD Lab does and you can also get "all in wonder programs" that offer very little of each routine.
If you like the power that DVDLab gives you I think its worth taking the time to work out what raw material works best.
