deinterlacing 1/2 interlaced 1/2 progressive

i have a dvd (29.97fps) that alternates 1 frame interlaced, 1 frame progressive (it might be 2 and 2, im not at that computer atm). would fielddeinterlace(full=false) or telecide() do the job just fine?

*EDIT - "do the job just fine" = effectively de-interlace the material into a progressive video
