I am following the guide from Doom9 site, with DIF4U, DOCCE4u, Scenarist, etc.

I'm new at these programs and need some help please.

I ripped my DVD w/ dvd decrypter and mounted G: with daemon tools.

Im at the part to process by VOB ID or not, and I really dont know what to do, but I think I don't have to do it. Do I?

If I right click on the MAIN VTS and open IFO EDIT, choose PLAY, the previews play fine, but when the main movie starts its all scrambled like this:
I can't save screen properly... the colors are just scrambled...

What could cause this? Is this normal?

Hi Shine~ON and welcome to the 'big 3' forum!

(i wrote out a really long response which i managed to lose :( so here's the concise version)

it is impossible to tell from your screen capture whether demux by vob-id is required. please read this guide which will explain what to look for:
To VOB ID or not to (http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/vobidornot.htm)

also make sure you have 'Autoswitch VTSes containing angles to Vob-id Demux' selected in DIF4Us pre-processing options.
and check in the ifos for ILVUS (interleaved video units) which is a sure sign of mult-storey authoring.

anyways, hope that helps some.

as for your second issue, i have no idea sorry.

good luck

Concerning your second question: my guess would be that there's still macrovision protection enabled (or css), but that would be rather strange if you used dvd decryptor. Maybe the video stream is not rendered correctly.

besides the good suggestion by jel, you can also look at http://dvdguides.trilight.net

Good luck!
