I was trying to deinterlace this video but I can't seem to get it to look just right.

image removed to save own bandwidth

Notice how the show logo looks very interlaced and jagged? Anyone know a good way for me to fix this?

Well my friend, the logo below right to me seems almost the best of the pic ;) Ok, you got some Chroma rainbows in the (c) of the logo.

I do not recognise combing but I assume you did capture in YV12 (4:2:0) using a mpeg capture codec like mpeg2 or mpeg4(xvid/divx)???

Those are dot crawls :) You can use GuavaComb to remove them.

This is a straight rip from a dvd not reencoded or anything. The red text looks messed up and I wasnt sure what to call it.
