Reasonably priced TBC

I need to transfer a number of both beta and VHS tapes, and I've been getting a lot of flicker, especially at the top of the frame, with multiple different source machines. Because I have two formats, buying a s-VHS with TBC doesn't make as much sense as a standalone unit. I have no idea what to buy, except what Lord Smurf has recommended...the Datavideo unit for around $300. How about some other suggestions for a standalone TBC unit? Rick

I also would like to know of one. I was thinking about getting a JVC S9900 vcr with built in TBC which runs around $350-400 is you shop around, but im not sure if the TBC will function on pass through video and not just on the tape thats being played in it.
