hehehe, first off, I am completely aware that doing anything to a 1080p stream, let alone one at 60Hz is going to utterly crush my computer.
Stream is FILM source, frame sequence looks like (aabbbccdddeefff... halfway to telecine. Pulldown(1,3) returns the proper 23.976 stream
Long story short, I can play this stream at full speed, around 90% utilization of one of my CPU's. Yet DVD2AVI, thru AVISynth decodes around 2fps. This is with CPU=0, and iDCT set to SSE MMX. The AVISynth script (for now) consists of one line: "mpeg2source("blah.d2v")"
Has anyone here experienced anything similar?
