dvd2avi cuts movie

hi,
i encountered a problem creating .d2v files with dvd2avi. i coundn't find an answer on the forum, so i hope you can maybe help me!

whenever i want to convert a svcd (or dvd) into xvid, dvd2avi cuts off about an inch of each the top and the bottom of the movie. dvd2avi displays the movie correct, but when i open the created .d2v file in gordianKnot, the movie has been cut!

i've tried all versions of dvd2avi, but none solved the problem!

GordianKnot has a crop option, if you set it once it will remember that setting the next time you load it (even when you switch d2v's). Could that be the problem?

DVD2AVI also has a crop option but I have never used it (not sure it even works properly, are you sure it is off?).

ahh! that's it! i forgot about the crop option in dvd2avi! thanks a lot! it works fine again!
